Daphne a staffordshire Bull Terrier cross came to us via vets where she was taken by the Dog Warden to be destroyed as her time was up from the pound. Very thin and scared we assesed Daphne and found she wasn’t very good with other dogs due to fear.. We placed Daphne in a foster home with no other pets or children living there where she thrived and learnt how to play with toys. After a few months in rescue her foster mum decided to adopt her and she couldn’t bear to be without her.. Daphne now lives in Bedfordshire.

Hope is a tiny kitten that came in rescue as an emergancy. We was alerted to her plea for help by one of rescue members where she was posted on the Nottingham free and pets for sale page on face book. Hopes owner had asked for rescue help in which this tiny kitten she had gotton 2 days before was seriously ill, injured, not eating or drinking and dragging back legs and her toddler won’t leave her alone.. The lady said she is 16 weeks old but is the size and has teeth of 6 to 7 week old kitten. She also has short legs with a longer body so possibly a munckin cross or this could be a growth problem also (possibly inter bred causing all this)

After seeing a vet it soon became apparent she had Hydrocephalus through recent trauma to her head! She was hospitalised in a pen here, observed and given plenty of rest to recover. Hope recovered tremendously but will never be 100% and has been rehomed as an indoor cat. You can read Hope’s Story here
